This course provides training to the family and/or friends of an ADULT Sex Offender. It outlines the conditions and behavior required of the offender while under supervision, as well as key behaviors of an offender, both prior to and after receiving treatment.
Chaperones are encouraged to take an active part in the offender’s life in order to recognize and identify thinking and behavioral errors that can lead to a sexual offense. Training is key in aiding the chaperone to intervene prior to another offense being committed, thus preventing legal consequences and/or future victimization.
